About the Studio

When I was young, I was quiet and shy, and had no desire to perform in front of others. Being on stage, or even the thought of playing for people, had me terrified.

When I was forced to do so, I’ve made many mistakes and failed more than I’ve succeeded.

I’ve embarrassed myself, forgotten all my music, and sat there in awkward silence while the audience waited for me to continue playing.

So what does this mean?

Because of my experiences, I learned how to turn failure into success.

From my challenges, I’ve learned resilience, determination, and grit.

I learned to overcome the feelings of mortification, hardship, and dejection.

This is what I bring to lessons.

I challenge my students to become confident individuals who are ready to tackle anything thrown their way.

Students will receive coaching on:

  • Developing confidence and believing in themselves

  • Failing, and learning how to get back onto their feet

  • Dealing with disappointment, rejection, and embarrassment

  • Changing their mentality so that they can achieve success

  • And the best thing? Using music to accomplish all of these things!

TECHNIQUE & PRACTICE

What my students say to me:

Wow! That exercise was so helpful!

That was absolutely amazing. How did you know to do that?

I didn’t even realize my fingers could move this way…

What parents say:

I didn’t realize how using that technique to practice this passage cleaned up the playing so beautifully!

In just 3 minutes of practice, the change was astounding. We couldn’t achieve this result last week before the lesson with you, and she practiced that section for an entire week over and over.

I didn’t even have to tell her to practice this week. She did it all herself!

  • I give my students the BEST tips and tricks to achieve easy, efficient, and effective practicing

  • They can cut down on their practice time but still ACHIEVE the same results

  • No more mindless repetition that drives the parents or students crazy

I combine my many years of rigorous training under notable teachers so that I can provide my students the best education that they can possibly get.

My students are trained to be self-reliant, self-sufficient, and self-critiquing.
